Chapter Text
The episode picks up with muted tension. The trailer is still the hot topic online, clips being replayed on every sports channel. The slap from Charlie plays over and over in Sebas’s head, almost like background noise he can’t switch off.
Sebas walks through the training facilities—everyone’s watching Roque again, not him. Roque’s locked in, leading drills with a voice that’s sharper, steadier. For the first time in months, Olympo looks like a team again.
Sebas POV (internal):
“He’s back… the captain everyone wanted. And me? I’m just noise in the background now.”
⸻
Scene 2 – Training Field:
Roque runs extra drills, sweat pouring, barking out orders with precision. Sebas tries to join in, but Roque barely acknowledges him—just a curt nod before moving on. The old warmth between them is buried under responsibility.
Sebas lingers at the edge of the field. He laughs with teammates when they joke, but the smile doesn’t reach his eyes.
Quick Cutaway: teammates whisper, “Roque’s different now… maybe he doesn’t need Sebas dragging him down.” Sebas overhears, his chest tightening.
⸻
Scene 3 – Locker Room:
Sebas scrolls through social media. Comments blast him for the trailer incident, calling him selfish, impulsive. He sees edits of Roque’s leadership clips set against inspiring music. The contrast eats at him.
Charlie walks in, still cold, still bruised by what happened. Without a word, he grabs his gear and leaves, giving Sebas a look that’s more pity than anger. That hurts worse than the slap.
⸻
Scene 4 – Nighttime Rooftop (Sebas alone):
Sebas smokes, staring out at the city lights. He replays every memory of Roque—the nights they spent talking about dreams, the unspoken bond that blurred friendship and something deeper.
“What are we, Roque? Friends? Teammates? Or just… nothing?” he whispers to himself.
⸻
Scene 5 – Roque’s POV (contrast):
We finally see Roque in his own silence. He’s exhausted, bruised, lying on his bed staring at the ceiling. His phone buzzes—messages from Sebas. He opens them, reads, then sets the phone down without replying.
His mind flashes to the documentary trailer too, but instead of shame, he uses it as fuel. “They won’t see me broken. Not again.”
But the conflict is there: every time he ignores Sebas’s messages, his jaw tightens. He’s choosing captaincy over connection, and it hurts.
⸻
Final Scene – Cliffhanger:
Sebas shows up late to the next morning’s practice. Roque doesn’t even look at him, just calls the team into formation.
Sebas mutters under his breath, loud enough for Roque to catch:
“If I’m not part of this… then what am I even doing here?”
The whistle blows. The episode cuts to black on Roque’s unreadable expression.
