Summary
The galaxy was crackling into existence in colors he never knew even existed, too pretty and too terrifying to classify. He can't paint in colors he can't name, he can't record the sound the Nebula makes when it explodes into being.
He can taste the bitter disappointment when his companion tells him, it'll only run for 6000 years. And his companion, oh he's an Angel. And he's gorgeous and Anthony squirms in his sleep. He wants to befriend, he wants to love, he wants to touch...
Unceremoniously, Anthony jolts awake, just as he always does before he can get anywhere new in the dream.
His entire body is coated in sweat, and he blinks several times, and rubs the chills from his arms.
He was lonely for someone he's never met.
To the great surprise of the humans Anthony and Asa they both start dreaming of alternate versions of each other before they even go on their first date. As they grapple between confusion and their doubts of the existence of a previous life, they learn that they actually fit quite nicely together. But they have a mystery to solve when they realize the dreams are the same!
