Calgary traded Peplar because he wanted out and was about to be a free agent the following year anyways. But Montreal is a far better team than Calgary and Hollander is a far better player than Peplar. Genuinely no reason for him to want a trade when Montreal is still in cup-contention, and no reason at all for Montreal to trade him.

Putting on my tinfoil hat and saying that IF there is any credibility to this… it’s likely a locker room issue. One of my coworkers has a friend who does Mommy & Me yoga with Andropov’s wife, she didn’t know what the issue is exactly but apparently it’s centered around Hollander and it’s creating some real issues within the team.

yeah not that i don’t trust your super credible source, but the voyageurs were eastern conference finalists this year, only reason they didn’t clinch it was due to multiple injuries after the florida bloodbath. whatever supposed issue they’re having certainly isn’t enough to affect their production on the ice.

Yeah not buying this. Two years ago Hollander signed for a $12,000,000 AAV over 7 years, combined with an NMC. It’s probably the best active contract in the league from a player’s perspective. They clearly have no intention of moving him.
