Chapter 1: Crime

Chapter Text

I stood in the middle of court, looking around, trying to find something to hold onto and not let myself slip off.
Fingers were raised, and I was charged with a crime, I never knew about.
Air got knocked out of me, vision blurred, and time flew by.
I still stood there, waiting for a hand to pull me out and stand for the right.
And then the question was asked, "Do the accused plead guilty?"
Guilty? A guilt of something I never did? Accused of something I never acted on?
A thin line of ruin and beyond,
No chance given, and still fell upon.

I controlled myself and laughed it on, because this the world where rich rule and poor are sacrificed .
If I were to be given a chance to live this life again,
I would scream to the god above for justice to have meaning in retake.
