Summary:

Abigail Brooks is an accountant who does YouTube as a hobby, living with her boyfriend, Leeroy Mateo, who is currently job hunting. When a romantic getaway meant to save their failing relationship goes awry, the couple find themselves crossing into a bizarre, cartoonish musical world known as Schmigadoon. Trapped in a 2D reality where emotional outbursts spontaneously trigger song-and-dance numbers and the inhabitants are trapped in a cycle of relentless optimism, Abigail and Leeroy must confront the cracks in their own bond. With the town’s mysterious rules binding them until they find, “true love,” the couple—now transformed into a jester and a rabbit, respectively—must decide if their love is the real thing.
