Klaus has to work with a pick-up artist and Eroica at the same time for a job, which distracts the Alphabets but also gets Dorian interested in the techniques.
Let me start off by saying that I hate pick-up artists. Have ever since I learned about them from The Game book and the TV show based on it. It's not that I don't believe in the techniques, I just find it personally abhorrent to use someone's psychology against them in this way.
When I started reading and it got into that stuff, I was tempted to drop it, but I wanted to see where Kadorienne took it.
That said, I still hated the whole pick-up technique thing until the end, but I enjoyed reading Dorian's POV and Klaus' side of it, as well as the stuff about The Hope. Free history lesson!
The ending was fun, and the only reason I didn't buy into Klaus' giving in 100% is because, well, it's just too hard to imagine him so vulnerable. But I did believe how he went as far as he did to put himself in the position to be vulnerable! :)

NATO borrows in an American "Romeo" agent to seduce a woman for information. The man claims he's able to pick up anyone. Seeing that the man is very good at what he does, Dorian enlists his help in seducing Klaus. The Romeo agrees, but he wants something very valuable in return. Will Dorian be able to pay the price and, even if so, will the seduction work?
But then, years of seeing him as the unstoppable Prince of Thieves hadn't separated the Major from his crisply pressed trousers.
Very interesting story. I like several of the ideas used in it. Nice twist at the end. Many good lines. Interesting OCs. Nice dash of humor. Tsk, tsk, silly boy Klaus. And, yes, please keep Keegan away from Lawrence. I did enjoy the way Dorian handled Klaus once he had him a bit on the hook. Cute about the tank.
