Chapter Text
Hey guys! So I'm just gonna cut right 2 the chase and say sorry for fucking off for nearly two and a half years D:
I recently emerged from a pretty rough patch in my life (family, mental health and financial issues etc.) and I remembered how much fun I had writing this fanfiction. So, this fake chapter is to officially announce my intentions to continue Scorch Marks!
I can't promise a specific date just because I'm still in the process of correcting a lot of bullshit in my life. I may get bit on the ass by the writing bug and upload something in a few days, I may end up taking my time to upload something in a few months, but more likely I'll fall somewhere in between those timeframes so just be patient my loves. In the meantime I'm planning to go through the previous chapters to tweak the sentence structure, adjust grammar, fix spelling errors I didn't catch the first time around and add extra details.
Also, over the course of my fun stay at RBR (Rock Bottom Resort), I realize left a LOT of comments unanswered and I want to be up front with the fact that I don't really plan to respond to them. Don't worry, I read each and every one and appreciated all of your very kind and constructive words, but I think my time would be better spent actually writing the story. I won't discount the possibility of me happening to be in the right mood to answer them one day just because I don't like putting hard boundaries on myself, but I have no specific plans to and I just want y'all to know that your comments weren't for nothing and I appreciate them very much.
So, yeah! That's about where I'm at atm. Feel free to reread, and honestly? Please comment with any grammar or spelling errors that you notice or your ideas on how to make the text flow better. I can't promise that I'll take your advice but I'll adore you for trying to help me improve.
