Summary
Volo and Giratina never opened the Space-Time Rift. Instead they settled down into a more comfortable existence, choosing to dwell together in the Distortion World. Giratina sees that all Volo's needs are taken care of, Volo founded a cult in Giratina's name, and they get to spend the rest of eternity at each other's sides. They're in love. They're happy. Life is good.
Until Giratina's cult gets a little out of hand, and suddenly they both have to deal with a new roommate.

Akari gave Volo an easy enough task for the day: mind the front of the establishment while she's busy with a customer. He can do that. It's just a simple matter of keeping an eye on the other courtesans and making sure the clients don't cause trouble. And he wouldn't dream of disappointing her, not when he takes such pride in being his Mistress's favorite.

The words came out a touch more curt than they intended. Both humans paused to exchange a frown. “Is everything alright?”
“Like I said. It has been dealt with.” Giratina snorted and shook their tendrils out. “We can discuss it later. For right now, your god is in need of some… attention.”
Or, Giratina has a long day, and comes home to two very good humans who can make it all better for them.
