“You’re not seriously arresting me, are you?” You finally ask, frowning. The situation was obvious, but you couldn’t stand the dead silence. It was killing you. Plus you could feel a cramp coming on in your arm, and the handcuffs were a huge pain in the ass.
“You are being detained.” The android corrected.
You inwardly scowl. “Explain what that means. As opposed to arrest?”
“It means,” He says. “That you have not been formally charged with a crime, but that for now, you are being taken into the custody of the Detroit Police Department, and will be questioned and investigated.”
“So what I think you’re saying.” You start smugly. “Is that you have no evidence against me.”
“I’m going to find out.” He warns.
