But the more he watched the boy, the more he realised how much the boy was just like Yoichi.
And just like how Yoichi was the one who started it all, he felt that the boy has what it takes to end it conclusively, once and for all.
But not with how the blond oaf is doing things.
He will need to take over.
Just like how his quirk shifted the speed of objects however fast or slow he liked, Kudou is going to shift the gears of fate, so that the battle between good and evil is finally brought to an end.
Though, he never could’ve foreseen developing paternal feelings for the boy in the process.

No matter how much time passed, Izuku never really felt Quirked. He had a quirk, and it had even started to feel like his quirk, but he still felt Quirkless.
He felt the years of doubt and useless hatred that had been flung at him lay heavy on his shoulders. He felt bitterness at his friends and classmates who had never known what it was like to really be called useless, trash, Deku. He felt anger and despair at the fact that others were suffering like him. And he felt lonely; now that he was no longer with them, he was alone.
You can give the boy a quirk, but you can’t make him Quirked.
