Summary
Izuku knows, very well, how cruel the world is. He's known it since he was eight and his mom died. He's known it with every burn and bruise. He knows it too well. There's not kindness for people like him, barely even human compared to everyone else. He doesn't expect to find it anywhere but his dreams and online spaces where he can pretend to be anyone. Least of all in the form of rough hands and ruby eyes. It's a home for the first time in years, a place where he belongs. Maybe being on the wrong side of the law isn't the worst thing in the world. It seems like a small price to pay for a family.
Or, Izuku's mother died years ago and his father is a piece of shit. In his second year of middle school he stumbles across a dying Shigaraki and saves his life. It changes a lot of things.
But mostly how he sees the color red.

From what? He doesn’t remember.
One moment, he was asleep in his- a? bed and the second he was on the street with the instinct to run. So he ran, small bare feet thumping against the ground desperately trying to get away.
He doesn’t remember how he got here, he doesn’t remember what he did yesterday or the day before, and the stuff that he does remember is confusing.
//Izuku is shrunk into a four year old, the League goes "our kid now".
