Summary
The moon was heavy in the sky above them. Chuuya didn’t have to look up, he could feel it hanging over him as it did every month, its pull harder and harder to ignore. Instead of rising to the bated question as Dazai intended, he took another drag on his cigarette. He hated that feeling, the way the moon made his blood into electricity in his veins, hated even more that just having Dazai here next to him quelled it.

It took a little less than an hour for Akutagawa to locate Atsushi’s phone. It was unusual for the weretiger to not turn up when expected, and while Akutagawa wouldn’t go so far as to worry about him, he did have some free time and Atsushi’s cell phone hadn’t moved in a while, so why not just pass by and loom ominously over him, as a reminder of obligations he had clearly otherwise forgotten.
