Summary
When Nanase Haruka woke up on an inconspicuous Tuesday morning to the sight of gleaming red eyes and a soft blush on pale cheeks, the first thought through his head was that the mackerel in the fridge would go bad if he didn’t eat it soon. His second thought was that if Rin insisted on watching him sleep, he should not get to complain when Haru made him pose for a drawing. As these thoughts flickered dully through his mind, Rin continued to stare at him, lips stretching into a toothy smile.
“Come on, Haru,” he said softly as he reached out to touch the other’s cheek. “It’s time to get up.”

Ai had gone out a few hours before, chattering happily about the plans he had made with some friends. They were going to watch some new Korean movie then head to the shopping center on the other side of town, the one with that shop that sold the sort of quirky, loose clothing Ai always wore.

Rin’s phone was clutched in his hand, still opened to his latest text. We’ve just got one more stop, and then I’ll be home, Senpai! That had been an hour ago.

Summary
The thing about Haru was that he was so perfect at everything he tried. Besides being the most beautiful swimmer Makoto had ever seen, he was also a talented artist, an accomplished chef, even a skilled woodcarver. Everything Haru touched came naturally to him. It was something about his hands, long, slender, and intelligent that made everything Haru did seem so beautiful.
Makoto, on the other hand, was large and clumsy. He was a decent swimmer, it was true, but he had no other talents whatsoever. His drawings had stopped being mistaken for the twins’ when they had outgrown his skill by the time they were eight. The last three times he had entered the kitchen, he had somehow set dinner on fire. Even Makoto agreed that trusting him with a large chunk of wood and some sharp tools was a disaster waiting to happen. In short, Makoto was entirely, breathtakingly ordinary.

Summary
It was during one of Samezuka’s joint practices with Iwatobi that Rin realized he loved Nitori. The realization came quietly, whispering over his shoulders like a gentle rain sometime in between corralling Momo away from Gou and diving into a freestyle race with Haru. It came unexpectedly, but in no way was it unwelcome. Rin smiled to himself, thinking it over as he watched his team practice. Really, it had only been a matter of time. Nitori was beautiful and sweet, and he was genuinely liked by everyone who knew him. Half the team was in love with him. Really, it was a surprise that it hadn’t happened already.
