Quinn could only nod. She could only nod and let the brunette guide her upstairs. She let Rachel lead her to her own room and into her bed with the duvet by the foot of the bed thrown over her. She let Rachel tuck her in, with a kiss on her forehead and a promise of joining her soon. With a promise of lying with her.
She fell asleep with those words echoing in her ear. She fell asleep to the lingering touch Rachel had left behind.
She fell asleep, dreaming of Rachel.
Dreaming of feeling home, finally.
