Summary
When he wakes up that morning, it takes him a moment to realise the silence he had grown accustomed to hanging over the household until late morning wasn't present. Instead, it had been replaced with an odd bustle, one that doesn't necessarily give off noise, but it’s enough to fully wake him up, driving him to get out of bed.
When he peeks out his door, Jimmy is already hurrying past, oddly dressed up for this time in the morning. He takes notice of him, swinging back around with a grin and pulling him into a one-armed hug that’s only slightly awkward.
He protests, squirming free of his hold and shoving himself back a few paces. “What’s gotten you all worried?” He asks, mood souring a little as he crosses his arms, his brain still slightly slow with sleep.
“We have a meeting today, I thought Scott told you?” He blinks at Jimmy for a moment longer.
“No.”
