Phoenix half expected Yoru to drop him to the ground and make a run for it. He could've made it. It would've made sense. But the boy kept going, carrying Phoenix's weight, stubbornly hoping to make it.
"Do they not see us? Oi!" Desperation seeped into his voice. They stopped walking when the aircraft was too high up in the air for them to make it. They were left to die."
