Summary
Kuroo’s been friends with Kenma since he was 11. He was there when his mom overdosed, when he went to high-school, through his dad’s multiple girlfriends, through his Lexapro prescriptions - through everything. The one thing Kenma hasn’t been through is the inevitable confession that Kuroo has to make someday - a confession of his true affection.
What Kuroo doesn’t know, is that Kenma has some secrets up his own sleeve. They might fall out, though, when he has to get a ride from Kuroo home after practice one day when his parents ”aren’t home,” and it’s just them, alone, in a singular small car for about 4 hours on end, through countless miles of traffic with a small little time-bomb in between them. Watch as these two asswipes pine for each-other for 10,000 words and counting. Will they confess? Will they realize each-others affection? Will one of them scream Lorde at the top of their lungs? Only time will tell.

Summary
What happens after you’ve gotten everything you’ve ever wanted?
To recap: Kuroo and Kenma. Best friends since they were kids. Both had tooth rotting crushes on each other. Kuroo drives Kenma home one day but gets into traffic. Tension builds and they both confess and start dating. But - uh oh! Kuroo is going to college in NYC. Kenma decides to go with him and do his final year of high school online.
All of the tension has finally fizzled out. But all of these big promises have to pay out some how. In the year following their confession, Kuroo and Kenma’s lives change in major ways from day to day.
