Summary
“Have a drink with me.”
Hannibal eyes the full glass of whisky sitting before Will sceptically. “Do you think it wise to be drinking whilst still on pain medication?”
“I didn’t ask for your medical opinion, Dr Lecter.” Will levels Hannibal with a scathing look, and slams down a second glass on the dark wood of the table. “I’m asking you to humour me.”
In which Hannibal and Will survive the ‘cliff-hanger’ but Will has no idea what he wants, Hannibal is pining, and they both drink a little too much.

"You know, you sometimes still look at me like you want to eat me alive."

Summary
“This was different.” Will said. He was uneasy, but nowhere near as horrified as he would have once been over the fact that he had killed a man. “This was first-degree murder.”
“Actually,” said Hannibal lightly, making a show of checking on the meat that was roasting in the oven, “It has been at 180 degrees for the last nine minutes. 350 degrees, if we are working in Fahrenheit.”
The first three hunts of Hannibal and Will following their defeat of the Dragon. They require Will learning a few things; how to ballroom dance, how to seduce, how to wear a suit, how to kill and eat people, how to deal with Hannibal's flippantly blatant cannibal puns... Luckily, Hannibal is there to teach him.

Summary
“Do you ever hunt?” Abigail had asked Will, once.
“I fish.”
“It’s the same thing isn’t it? One you stalk, the other you lure.”
Garret Jacob Hobbs had hunted. Abigail Hobbs had fished.
Will had not been able to comprehend it at first. But it made sense now.
Because Hannibal Lecter hunted, and Will Graham fished.

Summary
It has been months since Jack Crawford and his latest protégé, Clarice Starling, have had any new leads on the Lecter and Graham Case.
That is until a dead body that is believed to be Will Graham is found in Italy, at the same time that another body is found hours away, displayed in a way that is clearly Will Graham's design.

Summary
Clarice dreams of Will Graham with antlers. They sprout up from his curly hair and branch out towards the skies. Starlings start to gather and land on them, but some get stuck on the spiked ends, the way a shrike would impale its prey. Hannibal Lecter is also there, handsomely dressed in black, and he plucks the stuck Starlings down from their branches and eats them whole.
“Did you catch any bad guys today, Clarice?” Clarice hears her father’s voice ask her.
“No,” Clarice replies. “I am worried the bad guys are going to catch me instead.”
When the hunt for the serial killer Buffalo Bill demands fast action, Agent Clarice Starling is given the task of understanding Bill's actions, motives and identity, by consulting with notorious serial killers Hannibal Lecter and Will Graham, inmates of the Baltimore State Hospital for the Criminally Insane.
[Can be read as a standalone, or as a part of the Mentor Tormentor series].
