Mona arrives in Inazuma with hopes of starting a fresh life. What she finds, however, is far from what she expected. With few friends in this new nation, a murder she didn't commit being pinned on her and her money running dangerously low, Mona loses hope.
That is until a Harbinger steps in to help. He offers her a deal: become his pet, and he'll fund her lifestyle. But Mona knows just how dangerous Scaramouche can be. She knows ulterior motives lurk in his offer. Is the allure of following her ambitions worth the price of being a Harbinger's plaything?

With a soft sigh, Scaramouche lifted Mona from his arms and lay her backwards on the bed. He crawled over and ran his eyes across her figure, from her pale thighs to the dip of her collarbone visible above the hem of her shirt. Even without touching her, he could feel the warmth her body exuded. It was intoxicating. Rousing.
And soon, he thought, you will be all mine.

The end times have come. The sky over Mondstadt has been ripped in half. In the wake of a brutal siege, Mona wakes up to find her memories gone and a group called the Fatui ruling the city she once called home.
Her only reprieve is a man named Kuni who calls himself her husband. And yet there's something strange about him. Something beneath his kind smile that makes the hairs on the back of her neck stand on end.
Scaramouche has been waiting to meet Mona again, and the chance to sink his claws into her once more is one he will not miss for the world, even if he has to turn his back on the Fatui to do so. Obsession is a deadly, beautiful thing, after all, and if there's something Scaramouche is certain will come of this apocalypse, it's that Mona will be his.
