Just for giggles—and because some alcohol may have been involved—Jared and Jensen put together an audition tape for the reality TV show The Amazing Race. It came out so well that Jared may have talked Jensen into letting him submit it. Neither of them ever expected anyone would actually watch it, let alone that it would get anywhere. Both eventually forgot about it. Then the call for an in-person interview came. How does Jared break the news to Jensen? Jared is excited. Jensen is less than. But Jensen hasn’t turned down a challenge yet… unless it involved heights.

Two and a half years after crossing the finish line for the second (and final) time on The Amazing Race, Jensen and Jared are once again confronted with the aftereffects of reality TV—yes, again. Only this time, it’s a little different. This time, Jared went out and tested his fortitude… solo (with Jensen’s blessing). Now, Jensen gets to make sure all the pieces are still where they belong when Jared returns from his little adventure in the South Pacific. And it’s aggravating as all hell that his husband is keeping mum on how long he ‘survived’ there.
