Harvey had done many difficult things in life. Objectively difficult things, like rising to the top of the pool of youth baseball players to pitch on the best Little League team in the state, leading his team to two championships. Or turning his life around in his twenties and graduating fifth in his class from Harvard Law. Or becoming Pearson Hardman’s youngest senior partner.
And yet, he was convinced that nothing — nothing — was more difficult than dealing with teenagers.
