Summary
“Dean?” Bobby asked, his frown deepening when he saw the pallor of Dean’s face. “What’s the matter?”
Dean shuffled over to the couch and sat heavily, sweat prickling on the back of his neck. “Stomach’s upset,” he said hoarsely. Leaning forward on his knees, Dean swallowed thickly and shivered. “Didn’t want to wake Sam up.”

Summary
David Rose closed himself in the small washroom in the corner of the store and took a deep breath. Patrick was at a small business conference so David was in charge of the store, all alone, for the next three days, until Patrick returned. Which wouldn’t have normally been an issue, except for the fact that David was quickly realizing he was getting sick.

Summary
“Here’s your wire, Caffrey—woah. Why are you so sweaty?” Diana asked, stopping dead in her tracks when she noticed the sheen of sweat covering Neal’s face.
“Hey, he’s been spending a lot of time with Peter,” Jones said, backing as far away from Neal as he could in the small confines of the van.
Diana backed up a step at Jones’ observation. “Are you sick?”

Summary
“Potter. My office. Now,” Sev barked, turning on his heel, billowing cloak trailing behind him intimidatingly.
Harry gulped and looked over at Hermione and Ron. “Think I’m in trouble?” Harry’s heart rate was increasing at the thought.
“No, Harry, I think he wants to check in with you and see if you’re alright. You really don’t look well,” Hermione said softly. She reached out and squeezed his hand with a gentle smile.

Summary
“Hello?” Peter didn’t normally get calls at 6:30am, but it wasn’t a super uncommon occurrence given his line of work.
“Peter?” A raspy voice was on the other end of the line.
“Neal? What’s the matter?” Peter frowned and set down his cup of coffee.
“I’m sick.”

Summary
When Dean woke next, it was to Bobby’s hand on his forehead. Dean pushed himself up, looking around for Sam. “Is Sam okay?”
“Relax, Sam is fine. Are you okay? You don’t normally sleep so late.” Bobby frowned, using the inside of his arm to feel Dean’s forehead instead of his palm. “You’re lookin’ a little pale.”

Summary
The morning passed in a blur of crime scene photos and coffee cart runs. Ziva kept her winter jacket on when she returned from her most recent coffee run, although she had gotten tea this time, and she had just settled in at her desk to call some eye witnesses when her train of thought was interrupted.
“Ziver, let’s move!” Gibbs called from his desk.
She looked up at him, confused about where they were going. “Where are we moving to?” she asked, her voice coming out hoarse and nasally.

Summary
“You okay?” Peter asked after Neal had swallowed down the pills.
Neal flashed him a smile. “Yeah, just a little achy.”
“Achy?” Peter’s brow furrowed as he looked the younger man up and down for any signs of injury. “Did something happen?”
“No, no. Just woke up a bit stiff, and now everything hurts,” Neal admitted.
“Maybe you’re getting sick?” Peter frowned. He wasn’t sure how to handle a sick Neal.
“Maybe.” Neal had the sinking feeling that Peter was correct; the body aches were just the tip of the iceberg.

Summary
Neal couldn’t ever remember feeling so terrible. It seemed as though every part of him ached, down to his fingernails, and he was exhausted from all the shivering he’d been doing. His throat hurt, his cough was severely unpleasant, his head ached, and his nose was beginning to feel stuffy.

Summary
It was Dean’s 12th birthday, and John never called.
It had actually been a good day, Dean reflected as he turned the hot water on in the shower. Bobby’d let him have a few friends over, they had pizza for dinner and an ice cream cake decorated with old cars for dessert; Bobby and Sam had even gotten him a handful of presents—things that didn’t come from the 50 cent bin at the drug store, things he actually wanted—and Dean’d had fun.
But John had never called.

Summary
David sniffled miserably, sighing dramatically on the exhale, and glanced over to where Patrick was standing at the register in the store, looking away quickly before catching Patrick’s eye.
Patrick looked up at his boyfriend and cracked a smile. “What’s the matter, David?”
David, acting surprised, stopped adjusting the product on the table in the center of the store. “Hmm? Oh, nothing. I just seem to have caught an illness with no known cure.”
Patrick barked out a laugh at that. “Don’t you think you’re being a little dramatic? You just have a cold.”

Summary
Ziva shook her head and pushed herself to a sitting position. She took the pills Tony handed her with the tea he’d made, and got comfortable to eat her soup while she watched tv. “You don’t have to stay, I’m alright.”
Tony smiled softly at her. “I know. You always are.”

Summary
Harry went though the day in a cloud of anxiety and exhaustion. By the end of his lessons, he was sure that Severus was going to yell and scream at him for slacking off. He was so anxious about it that he felt like he could throw up, and his hands wouldn’t stop shaking.

“Dean? You okay?” Sam asked from the passenger seat. His brows were furrowed with worry when he noticed the way Dean was hunched over and gritting his teeth.
“I don’t know, man, my stomach is killing me all of a sudden.” Dean winced again and wrapped an arm around his middle.

“Is your headache any better?” Peter asked softly. He knew it wasn’t, he just wanted to see what Neal said.
“No,” Neal replied in a whisper. Speaking at normal volumes made his ears ring.
“Is this a migraine?” Peter didn’t get migraines himself, but El had gotten them often enough that he knew the signs and symptoms.
“I think so. Worst headache of my life.”

Summary
Dean clamped a hand over his mouth, desperate not to vomit on himself twice in a 12 hour period, as he ran to the kitchen to find anything to hurl into. It was the stupid Wendy’s commercial that had set him off—the close up of the chicken and beef patties—and here he was, throwing up into Bobby’s sink.

Summary
A few days later, Harry was sitting at breakfast with Ron and Hermione when Ron leaned over to grab another helping of sausage; his leg bumped into Harry’s, and Harry hissed in pain, the dull throbbing burning bright and hot again.
“Sorry, mate,” Ron said, alarmed at Harry’s reaction.
“Ronald! What did you do?” Hermione gasped, also alarmed at how much pain Harry seemed to be in.“I barely touched him! I swear!” Ron threw up his hands in self defense.
“I’m fine,” Harry said, swallowing down the pain. The gash on his thigh wasn’t healing as fast as he wanted it to, but he still felt like he couldn’t tell anyone how it’d happened.

Summary
His first call was to June, letting her know that the furnace was out. His second call was to Peter.
“Neal? What’s the matter?” Peter asked, answering on the second ring. He sounded like he was chewing.
“Am I interrupting dinner?” Neal asked, feeling silly to be calling his boss about something like this.
“A little, but it’s okay. What’s up?”
“The heat is out at June’s and she’s out of town. I let her know what’s going on and she’s calling the repair guy, but I don’t think I’ll be in tomorrow if I can’t take a shower.” Neal shivered and crawled under his blankets. He could hear Peter covering the microphone of the phone and a muffled conversation between him and Elizabeth.
“Pack a bag, you can stay here.”
“Oh, I don’t want to put you out,” Neal started.
“Neal, it’s 17 degrees outside and you have no heat. You can’t stay there. I’ll be over in half an hour to pick you up, sound good?”
Neal let out a breath he didn’t realize he’d been holding. “Yeah, sounds good. I’ll be ready.”

Summary
“Jesus, Neal, what’s wrong?” Peter asked, flicking on the light switch from where he stood in the doorway. He took in the puddle of vomit and hurried over to Neal’s side to try and figure out what was wrong with his CI. “Shh, shh, you’re okay. I’m here.” Peter rested a hand on the nape of Neal’s neck. “Shit, you’re burning up.”
