[I really enjoy the She Tianlin character. Fun to explore his slow discovery about what his daughter has been up to.]

Ming Yi finally plucks up the courage to go visit her former mother (now mother-in-law) in Yaoguang Mountain. Jing Shu decides that it is necessary to give Ming Yi some sage advice about marital relations. How can Ming Yi ensure that her mother-in-law understands that she really doesn’t have to worry?
[This is based on a real incident in my own life. The night before my wedding, my dear grandmother came to me and had a similar conversation with me. I had been living with the man who became my husband for six months prior to getting married. Suffice to say… we’d already worked things out… Keeping a straight face was very difficult, particularly because my sister was silently having hysterics behind my grandmother. I solemnly thanked grandma for the advice and said I would keep it in mind.]

Summary
Love in the Clouds ends with a battle between Ji Bozai and Ming Yi (with no hint of the outcome).
The premise of this fan fiction is that Ming Yi wins that battle, and the emperor of Yaoguang Mountain reacts typically badly. Is it possible for Ming Zhenghui to learn to behave better? And what reasons might impel him to change his behaviour?
