Summary
Bdubs felt heat crawl up his neck. “I have a name, you know.”
“Yeah, Bdubs,” Scar said, still smiling like it was the funniest thing in the world. “But when we’re yelling across the ravine at three in the morning, ‘Small B’ is faster than trying to figure out which B we mean. Big B’s the giant, you’re the… compact edition.”
Etho shrugged one shoulder. “It’s practical.”
Bdubs opened his mouth, closed it, then shoved himself off the chest. His moss cloak rustled angrily. “Practical,” he muttered. “Right. I’m gonna go… check something. Outside.”
Scott called after him, “Don’t get lost in the dark, Small B!”
Bdubs didn’t dignify that with a reply. He slipped through the door and into the night.

“I didn’t want this,” Grian whispered at last. "I couldn’t… I wouldn’t do that.”
BigB nodded slowly, even though Grian couldn’t see it. “So you left.”
“I ran.” Grian’s voice cracked. “They still look for me sometimes. I feel it. And every time the versions shift here, it’s like I’m back, watching the sky open. I keep thinking… what if I’m still like them? What if one day I look at all of you and start thinking you’re just… lesser?”

Summary
“Hey, you two alright in there? We brought extra berries if you—"
Pearl’s head snapped up instantly. Scott froze in the doorway, hands raised in surrender, a basket of berries dangling from one arm.
“Easy, Pearl. She’s in full moon mode, literally. Very cuddly with me, very bitey with everyone else.”
Scott bit back a laugh. “Noted. Impulse is out here too. We were just checking if you needed anything before we turn in.”
From further outside, Impulse called out, “Yeah! We can leave the berries by the door if Pearly won’t let us closer! We already put beds down, dont wanna disturb you two!”
Pearl growled louder at the second voice.

Summary
The figure they called Mum, Cleo, turned toward Etho. Pale green skin, visible stitches along the neck and arms, the familiar undead posture. But something in the eyes—brighter, warmer, with a spark of emerald that didn’t quite match Cleo’s usual grassy colour—made Etho’s ears perk straight up. His tail gave a single, involuntary wag before he forced it still.
This wasn’t Cleo.
Etho knew that gaze. He’d seen it across Hermitcraft bases, in quiet moments spend together at Dawn. It was…

Summary
A ripple disturbed the void. Then another. From the darkness appeared a massive figure—taller than any player had a right to be, easily three times Scott’s height. A deep hood shadowed its face, but four pairs of gigantic wings unfurled behind it, each feather a shifting gradient of dark purple and black, absorbing what little light Scott emitted. A cloak of the same hue draped its form, rippling as if alive. The air grew thick with ancient power.
Scott’s stars spun faster in alarm. He tried to back away, but there was no direction in the void.
The figure lowered its hood.
