Notes:

Little Black Dress omnibus crossover, because anything goes with… well, all of them, actually. And who doesn’t like a little mpreg to brighten things up? Chronology? Schmonology. Yeah, ignore chronology between crossover fandoms, this is AU, everyone is forever in their prime. Set firmly in the *‘Stargate’* universe, where *‘Criminal Minds’*, *‘NCIS’* and *‘The Sentinel’* also exist (among *many* others), with the added ‘original’ AU wrinkle of my alien ‘Z’ chromosome resulting in dual-gendered humans. I do *try* to keep to canon, wherever possible… Stargate canon, anyway… BTW, chapter titles are drawn from CM episodes.

I haven’t figured how to format in AO3, so… *word* is highlighted bold & italics. Ship names like *Daedalus* are italics & underlined. Titles of TV shows, movies, books, are in quotes, italics & underlined, *’Star Trek’*, *’Star Wars’*, *’Deep Six’*. Non-English *words* are in italics.

I must confess to being *heavily* influenced by JLencre’s story ‘The Kysra’. It caught my imagination, big-time. I was already hooked on A/B/O stories (in spite of the often ludicrous biology) and wanted to write my own. JLencre is rare in actually making a good case to justify their origins (alien intervention? always good for a fanfic writer, and absolutely Stargate canon), which I also wanted to do, though I take it a different direction. I highly recommend JLencre’s Kysra story. JLencre is *sooo* much better at the M/M sex!

Fandoms: Criminal Minds goes AU after 11-11-Entropy (Diana’s early onset dementia is revealed, Hotch, Morgan and Tara are on the team, JJ is back from maternity leave). Stargate SG-1, spoilers for anything, post series, (the Ori are gone and the last (?) *known* Baal clone has been executed); Stargate Atlantis post series end, Atlantis back in Pegasus. NCIS goes AU after 8-5-‘Dead Air’, plot-required Ziva (and Eli David) bashing, some Gibbs bashing. The Sentinel, post series end, no one dead. Notes on other (more minor) crossover fandoms as they appear, some not much more than blink-and-you-miss-it cameos.

November 22, 2019: In my rush to the big finale, I realized I needed to ‘adjust’ a few things in previous stages: mostly in my explanations of the ‘Z’ chromosome/ATA gene in Stage I and III. Which offered an opportunity to edit Stages I thru V for typos, spelling, clarification and continuity. Oh, and coffee. As Mad Squirrel commented, pregnant people should not over-indulge.
