Okay. This is a work I wrote when I was in Year 8 in 2nd lockdown in 2021, when I was 12. This story is so terribly put together that it works better as a drabble collection. I'm making no edits to how it was written at the time, so cringe at your own discretion. The storylines greatly reflect my own personalities and problems at the time so to be honest most of it is awful. but maybe you will giggle. maybe you will show it to a group of friends and laugh about how shit it is.

Then Melody moves in, taking a plot of her uncle's ranch to fulfill her dream of being a rancher. A college-educated business woman, Melody doesn't accept failure - especially not her own. As Wayne falls hard for her, she struggles to return his affections until she has what she came for - and when she continually comes up short at the cow competitions, she begins to wonder if Westown is really the place for her.
A slightly more realistic, less cartoony take on Wayne's romance.

One of the friends she makes is Yuzuki Fujiwara, a mellow, sweet natured man from the town of Tsuyukusa who doesn't have the best constitution. The two of them form a strong connection that may even end up blossoming into love. But Harper's past might make things complicated, and when it threatens to catch up with her, she may find herself facing the demons from her pre-adoption early childhood.
This is the story of two different people, with different interests, passions, and paths in life, walking the same dirt road every day...
