Akazia proposes to jump down, using her Feather Fall spell. It takes Alvar some convincing, but eventually everyone jumps down, Snowball letting out a enthusiastic Wheeeeee. I must say that it is indeed quite thrilling, though Alvar doesn't seem to think so as she keeps her eyes firmly shut.

The front one hisses as Akazia hits it with a firebolt, distracted. Alvar shoots a normal arrow at him while walking closer, causing him to turn his attention to her as it hits him.
Seeing my opportunity I swing my sword with all my force, slicing through the bugbears body from shoulder to midriff. The sword swings into the ground with force, in front of the last bugbears feet. Tugging my sword out of the ground, I turn towards him and say; "Run." As I brandish my sword again.
Turning away, it begins running back to the city. I let him go, looking after him, clamoring from within the city taking my notice. The unicorn rushes past a collection of goblinoids, rushing out of the southern gate, and spearing the remaining bugbear on its horn. Then it shimmers and disappears back to its origins, taking the bugbear with it.

Changeling romance is complicated, at best, that's for damn sure.
When one of the Tyrants of Sharn meets Gem, an elven woman with a certain, reckless flare, they can't deny that their curiosity has been piqued. It's as if every circumstance surrounding their relationship has been fated. However, the Tyrants, being composed almost entirely of changelings and doppelgangers, aren't the welcoming sort, especially when an outsider is involved. And, being information brokers, not a single one of them can mind their own damned business.
Despite what everyone says about Gem, though, her lover never believes a word of it. Despite their newfound romance being pox-marked with subterfuge, backstabbing, and vitriol, they persevere. Despite it all, they simply adore her too much to let her go.

A warning, this is written for my players, and as such much of the canon and story is reliant on the story we have woven within our campaign.
