Summary
The Final Showdown nears.
Naofumi and his allies are almost back to full strength while training for the final battle, and Kizuna goes with Itsuki and Glass to the Gem Country of Lapis to gather allies for their cause.
All the puzzle pieces are almost in place. And yet, not everything is as it seems.
As she sees the world she saved years ago as it is now, Kizuna will learn why things changed during her imprisonment. Why every country was currently at each other's throats during the Waves. And why Kyo Ethnina went from being her good friend who helped out so much against the Demon Dragon to the villain he is now. And the reason for why...
As Fitoria said to him long ago, Naofumi will have to learn to be Diligent to protect the people of both worlds. But he will do so not only to protect the friends and loved ones he has come to cherish, but so that everyone connected to them can live a life where they are able to smile and laugh with those they love.
No matter how much they might think they don't deserve it.

Summary
Naofumi and Itsuki arrive in the Otherworld with their friends to pursue Kyo... and things go wrong almost immediately. As per usual.
Raphtalia and Dou-Lon find themselves trapped in a prison with Glass, L'Arc, and Therese. Itsuki, Maya, and Aksel are stuck in some strange library with books that do not like people at all. Filo is lost somewhere. And Naofumi and Rishia are trapped in some inescapable dimension Labyrinth with a lolibaba that hasn't seen other people in years. Oh, and this lolibaba is also the missing Hunting Tools Hero of Glass's world.
Coincidences aside, these groups are not only going to have to escape captivity. They'll also have to beat countries who are determined to make things in their world as trashy as possible for Naofumi and his friends.
Speaking of Trash, Kyo is taking a backseat in this arc to recover from losing an arm to the Sword Hero's blessed sword. Meaning we get to meet a different antagonist. One who is definitely no where near as threatening as Kyo, yet who is somehow responsible for most of the crap L'Arc and his world have gone through the last couple of years.
Aultcray, step aside. Someone worthy of your old nickname has finally taken your place.
