Summary
After the Oath-Breaking, as it has come to be called, Master Merillëtári sat down with each of the original god-sworn and asked them about their experiences.
Initially, she only wished to honor and preserve their testimonies of labor and hardship that had so long gone unnoticed and unrecognized. But it did not take long to hear of others interested in the experience for their own gain, and swiftly the project gained new dimensions.Herein lie popular excerpts from the multi-volume Interviews with the Quendi of the First Oath of Middle-Earth - accounts of the blessings and trials of swearing oneself to an Ainu.

Summary
It was unheard of, that one of the House of Oropher would succumb to that curse of the Exiles, the sea-longing.
With the strength that saw him through three ages of the sun, Thranduil must now face the aftermath of the War of the Ring -and the losses it brought- as well as Legolas’ decision to first set up an elven settlement in Ithilien and later to sail West.
This story explores the Legolas-shaped hole in Lasgalen during the war and how his absence, his return, and his ensuing departures may have affected his family and influenced Thranduil’s decision to finally sail West, later in the Fourth Age.
Chapter 12: "The Memory Of Trees. " Settled into life in the Blessed Realm, Thranduil still manages to surprise Legolas. During a leisurely fishing day father and son reflect on loss and hope and memory, as Legolas finally understands the the deepest meaning of all his toils.

Summary
Celebrimbor unearths his bones.
Nienna had plucked them out of blood-soaked soil, gently one by one, and had washed them with her tears, cradled them with her veils, coaxed their grief out of their shell. How was trust profaned, how ambition exploited, good will spat on, the wonder of love and creation twisted into the evil that the world endured?
Questions as old as his bloodline. Answers unique to himself.
The Lady of Sorrows had walked with him through his pains, prayer after teardrop after prayer.*
Or, a study of catharsis: Celebrimbor returns to life, meets people, rebuilds Formenos, does elf chemistry, and talks with his mother; not entirely in that order.

Summary
There was already an oath that controlled elves before the one Fëanor made in YT 1495. One that drove the Eldar from Cuiviénen and gave them hope for a new life; one that enabled the Valar to exert greater control than ever before; one that took all semblance of choice and control from fourteen elves in return for the greater good.
"Then Manwë said to the Valar: 'This is the counsel of Ilúvatar in my heart: that we should take up again the mastery of Arda, at whatsoever cost, and deliver the Quendi from the shadow of Melkor.' Then Tulkas was glad; but Aulë was grieved, foreboding the hurts of the world that must come of that strife." (J.R.R. Tolkien, The Silmarillion)
Fifteen elves swear to bear children for the Valar in exchange for the protection of their race, and thus the Maiar come into being. This story follows the ramifications of that choice from the Years of the Trees through the Fourth Age of Middle-Earth.
