Summary
Two years after MAIK's reign of terror ended, everyone had adjusted and began moving on. Pochi still found his mind wandering to the past far more than he would have liked, but he never felt like he was falling behind developmentally, even if his body never aged. The same could not be said for Reycho, however. This made him subject to scrutiny, especially from Kansai. Pochi wanted to grow up like everyone else, but he didn't want to leave Reycho behind.
Sometimes, paths branched off, and there was nothing to be done about it. Pochi and Reycho had to learn this the hard way.

Things only get much stranger from there as deciding to keep it shows that there's a lot more going on than they would originally believe. Maybe having a new friend wasn't such a bad idea after all?

Suddenly gaining sentience isn’t easy. While everyone around Reycho has had all their life to adjust to the world, he’s suddenly thrust into it with little understanding of how it works. He’s never talked before, smelt before, touched before and so much more. Yet, the thing that seems to urk him most is just how unpredictable and unpleasant it is to have feelings.
But maybe with Pochi there to guide him, navigating his way through this unfamiliar world will be just a bit more bearable.

This story is a collection of all Nextgen Series chapters focused on Miko Kubota, her friends, and her story arcs. Features heavy crossovers between Glitch Techs, Kids Next Door, Sword Art Online, Xenoblade Chronicles, and other series from the Gameverse continuity. The first episode of Glitch Techs is recommended viewing prior to this, as concepts and characters from the show carry over to this story, however the setting is different.
