   Summary

   “Oh, you’re so dramatic,” Noob shot back, rolling their eyes with a grin that practically glowed. “You wouldn’t even let me go to one by myself. You care way too much about me.”

   The words stretched out with exaggerated exasperation, dripping with a thick layer of sarcasm, but there was something softer behind them, hidden just beneath the surface.
   Sixer tilted their head, the smile never wavering, but now there was a spark in their eyes—a spark that was quiet and knowing.

   Maybe this was the one time they were grateful for being unable to speak, because if they could, they knew they’d blurt out something very stupid at this second. Something that would completely ruin the moment.
