Summary
A few weeks after Chloe was poisoned and Lucifer disappeared without a word, she gets a call she never expected: he was reported missing in Vegas by his wife, and no one knows what happened to him.
It’s news that leaves her with a fresh round of hurt and anger, but she can’t stand by if he’s in real trouble, so she and Maze go to Vegas to find him. What she learns there changes everything she thought she knew of the world, her partner, their relationship—and herself.
With a miracle no one can explain, the terrifying experience of being loved unconditionally, broken trust that needs mending, a scheming goddess, and a whole host of celestial problems they never saw coming, both Chloe and Lucifer have a lot to sort out. Navigating that mess is far from easy.
But they care for each other too much not to try. Step by step, they’ll find their way through it together.

Summary
Lumon learned something when Helly R. started a coup on the severed floor and Mark S. stayed behind:
They'd been testing the Severance barrier between the wrong two people.
It didn't take Lumon long to regain control of the floor and when they did, they gained the perfect opportunity to get it right this time.
---
Helena and Mark are held hostage on the testing floor. Every day they're sent into two rooms. Regularly they come out with feelings they shouldn't.
Chapters labelled Helly R./Mark S. are self-indulgent one shots of Mark and Helly falling in love over and over again.
Chapters labelled Helena Eagan/Mark Scout tell the story of two damaged people trying to make it through.
Love transcends Severance.

Summary
As soon as Helena pushes the door closed behind them, she’s hit by the gentle weight of Mark's body as he presses her into the adjacent wall, a gasp suspended in the back of her throat as his lips cover hers. She responds without really meaning to, just muscle memory, her head leaning back into his cupped hand as he protects her from knocking against the hard surface. The act of it is so tender that she can’t take it anymore, can’t take this—something she didn’t earn and doesn’t deserve.
She wedges her hand between them, palm to his chest, and pushes back. The look of hurt that flashes in his eyes is almost enough to pull him back to her.
“I’m—I’m sorry, Helly. Before the OTC… I should’ve kissed you back then; I wanted to. I—I thought—”
“I’m Helena Eagan,” she says, the confession tumbling out as an exhale.

Season 2 Canon Divergence: Helena Eagan tells Mark S. that she's Helena-as-Helly in 2.01.

Summary
When someone is killed at an exclusive resort for married couples, Chloe and Lucifer go undercover to solve the case—but he has a condition. It would simply be untruthful to pretend to be married, and Lucifer can't have that. So of course, the natural solution is to not pretend. Temporarily.
Chloe agrees despite her better judgment. There's a murder to solve, after all, and she doesn't let anything get in the way of doing her job.
It's time for their real-fake honeymoon, where they definitely won't actually fall in love. No way. Not happening.
