“And what does this... button... do?” said Alastor.
Vox restrained himself. “It starts the program,” he said evenly.
Alastor delicately rearranged the mouse. Nothing happened.
“You need to click,” said Vox.
Alastor clicked.
“No—double click. Do it twice!”
Alastor clicked once, then—after a pause that seemed to last a full century—clicked again.
He was fucking with him. He had to be fucking with him. There was no way he was actually this bad at this.
...
Or, in a last-ditch attempt to stay relevant, Vox sells his soul to Alastor, promising to assist him in all matters modern and otherwise. It goes about as well as you'd expect.

Summary
Solf J. Kimberley, first (and last, if he can help it) of his name, is born for the second time on a metal gurney in a white room. Something is wrong with him; something has changed, something fundamental, but... what?
This isn't how it happens. In another universe, Solf K. Kimberley bleeds out and dies devoured by Pride. In this one, however... well, it all happens the other way around.

Summary
Loki is her consolation prize.
He is the last thing she expects when her husband returns from his wars, reeking of blood and unwashed leather, but the paternal instinct can soften even the most battle-hardened warrior. As he stands before her, clasping the Jotun-blue baby in his arms, the mighty All-Father looks as anxious as a mother cat trying to nurse a duckling.Frigga puts out her hands, accepts him for what he is: a replacement for the son Odin has claimed as his own. A prize, looted from the battlefield by the All-Father himself.
She looks down at the squalling, alien child, already made fretful by the heat of the room, and thinks: yes. This one will be mine.

Summary
He wasn’t ever certain when he’d first realized that he was always given his slice of apple second, but he did know that he’d frowned, brows knitted together as he stared down at his slice to keep from looking at Thor. It was a silly thing to care about, and likely untrue in any case. A thing to dismiss, for it was, perhaps, just circumstance; they only spent afternoons together like this once a month, and so perhaps he’d forgotten the times when he’d been given his half first.
