A TRUE enemies to lovers AU. Read a lot of fics under this tag and wanted to take a stab at writing my own. Again TRUE enemies so be prepared for lots of angst and some really dark themes.

Summary
Set in the world of TCPF, this short story follows Doctor Kubo and Riley and their budding relationship. On a routine "business trip" overseas, Kubo comes face to face with Riley - a beaten, abused, trafficked girl who attempted to end her life so that she wouldn't be sold. Knowing that he's her only chance of survival, Kubo buys her and takes her home to nurse her back to health.
This short story references TCPF but you don't need to read the original book to enjoy it. This is a DARK ROMANCE but there will be no body horror this time, I promise. ;)
