Summary
Shane has always believed that loving someone meant choosing them and being chosen in return.
After nearly three years together, Evan asks to open their relationship. Shane doesn't want to. He doesn't want to share Evan, doesn't understand why their relationship isn't enough, and is terrified that saying no might mean losing the life they've built together.
So Shane says yes.
He tells himself it will be fine. That love can survive anything. That rules and honesty will be enough to keep everything from changing.
Then he meets Ilya.
