It had been a couple years since Lake and Jesse had escaped the train. After saving up what money both teens could, the pair were finally ready to take their first official Travel Friends trip together since getting off the train. Lake was on top of the world, finally happy and finally free. With Jesse at their side, they knew they can handle anything.
But when they arrived at the airport, what Lake wasn't prepared for was seeing an achingly familiar face, a face they thought they'd never see again.
