Summary
After being chased out of the kingdom, now on the run from Queen Morrible and her witch-hunting mobs, Elphaba finds new life in a secluded, enchanted forest. Spending her time tending to the poppies and selling herbal products, she is content with this being how she spends the rest of her life as long as it keeps her alive. But after stumbling upon an intruder, Elphaba is thrust into uncertain danger, beginning a path of revenge, discovery, and true freedom.
Set in an alternate, alice of wonderland/snow white (lost in the rabbit hole/forest) universe, but Oz is essentially the same. Same rulers, racism, and Animals.
Elphaba is also slightly more similar to book Elphaba (the part where she goes into hiding as a nun). But she is not a nun in this lol. She is more withdrawn, a recluse, a little awkward and on the verge of losing her mind.
