    I love this so much. I love it to bits. The story is amazing. The characters are amazing. The ending is amazing. Everything about this fan work is amazing. The Scientist's Lament is one of my favourite works of fiction regardless of medium. This was a wonderful experience, and I truly hope whoever is to read it next loves it as much has as I do.

    I absolutely love Bjorn/Askeladd's relationship with Thorfinn. Cuz, like, yeah it wasn't healthy AT ALL, but they did pretty much raise him. Thorfinn spent most of his childhood with Askeladd's band, so like, he had to have developed some sort of relationship with them.
