Jungwon turns his head to look at Riki, whose expression has turned stone cold. “As I mentioned, your control has improved greatly, so—”
“How can you be like this?” Riki steps closer, almost nose-to-nose. “Jungwon hyung, you don’t understand! I watched you die!”
“Yet, here I am, Riki,” Jungwon retorts, lifting his arm, and frowns when he realizes that the shadows around have circled them. “You can’t let your emotions get the best of you.”
“What do you know about my emotions?” Riki tilts his head, still too close for Jungwon’s comfort.
In the midst of the world’s balance coming apart, Riki and Jungwon seem to have bigger problems. The way Jungwon takes two steps back whenever Riki takes one forward, for example.
