Summary
Shadow Milk Cookie turns himself in after his attempt to destroy the Vanilla Kingdom ends in humiliating defeat and is immediately enrolled in “voluntary” therapy under Pure Vanilla Cookie’s divine supervision. Refusal is not really on the table, but emotional growth apparently is. What follows is a structured reformation program involving accountability, reluctant introspection, and far too much proximity between a supposed villain and the impossibly radiant figure trying to “fix” him—somehow leading to the worst possible outcome for everyone involved: attachment.

Summary
Shadow Milk was a ‘normal cookie’; he often found it funny that he shared the same name as a character from a novel he read. Friends and students alike frequently teased him for it. But alas, he was a teacher at heart, and there was no way in his mind that he would torment someone so kind-hearted who believed in the truth.
After all, Pure Vanilla was such a charming character that he was swayed by his lowest and cried at his peaks when he overcame his suffering.
This is why it was distressing to find himself as an astral projection watching over Pure Vanilla in a world where he was still known as “Healer Cookie.”
With a book in his hands, he was given a checklist of requirements. Oh- He was Shadow Milk Cookie, from the novel. Shouldn’t he be given a script? Witches, where would he even begin? He was a performer at heart, but in something so life-like, he might have been given an impossible task.
Please let this be a lie, or a dream. Yes, a dream was better.

Summary
There is a pattern to Shadow Milk shifting forms.
Pure Vanilla started mapping it to better expect when he'd find a snake in his closet, or a porcupine on his chair.
It always comes back to perception; or Shadow Milks want to not be perceived at all.
While his beast loved his theatrics and ached desperately for his attention, did not he want others to perceive him. His time as the Fount, both a profound breach of personal boundaries and intense isolation, left his dear beast's emotional processing absolutely destroyed.
So he changed his form.
