Summary
Aziraphale, bookshop owner and self-taught snake expert, finally manages to join an expedition in the desert where he hopes to study and survey desert dwelling snakes. Unfortunately, it's not exactly what he was hoping for, and decides to sneak off on his own one morning to explore and hopefully catch a glimpse of some snakes. Ignoring warnings about staying close and how easy it is to get lost in the desert means that it isn't long until exactly that happens and Aziraphale is wandering around in the heat and sand for hours, canteen long run out. He's sure that he's going to die out there, but then over the next dune appears a life saving oasis. Aziraphale runs, following the sound of water. However as he finds the pool of water, Aziraphale also discovers that he is not the only one there, a gorgeous naga is bathing in the pool. Whatever will he do?

"And who are you supposed to be?” he growls with a heavy Scottish accent and gives the angel a heavy Scottish once-over.
Crowley can’t be sure if Aziraphale is extremely bad at playing humans or extremely bad at acting gay. He’s making his mannerism pronounced to their absolute maximum. It’s simultaneously so fucking endearing and a bit cringe.
He’s standing there in his beige clothes, sans the coat, with his legs drawn together, his elbows bent, his fingers slightly fisted. But worst of all, he’s pushing on his friendly act beyond the fact that the man before him is as hostile as a swarm of hornets.
“My name’s Aziraphale,” he coos and bends himself at the waist to offer his hand. “I’m a new tenant of miss Tracy’s. Here with my husband.”
