Summary
Dennis finds himself at a benefit dinner, wearing a busted suit, while the DJ is playing the worst remixes of early 2000's music. Everyone from his hospital is either shaking ass or drinking like it's their last night on earth, with the exception of his boss, Robby, who in a moment of sober spontaneity, asks his subordinate to dance with him. What follows is a tense night of will they/won't they while trying to maintain composure and professionalism in front of the entire medical community of Pittsburgh.

Summary
There’s something you’re often told by those who are unaware of the capabilities of magic: “Some things are simply inevitable.” I don’t think I believed that when I was a child, but I believe it much less now that I’ve become the Sorcerer Supreme. After feeling magic surge through your body, fighting demons and Gods, and visiting dimensions unknown to most it can become very difficult to imagine anything is set in stone.
So dealing with Thor trying to tell me that it’s ‘inevitable’ that Loki took a fascination with me is something quite unexpected. The Asgardian is hardly some uninformed dolt - frankly, he’s a lot more intelligent than many give him credit for - so to think he holds on to some concept of inevitability seems absurd. Still, he said what he said.

Duncan never imagined having another chance. "I suppose if you'll have me," he began, kneeling down before Baelor on the grassy field. "I swear to cling to you so often, you'll pray I start avoiding you, your Grace."
There was a smile along Baelor's lips, sunlight splitting through his tufts of black and silver streaked hair. "Will my prayers be answered?" He asked, tilting his head in curiosity. He was handsome with it short, majestic now that it was longer.
Duncan grew fierce. "The old gods and the new wouldn’t be able to keep me away."

When Baelor miraculously survives the gash to his head, Duncan is his Knight. Through politics, travel, friendship, and especially training his stubborn nephew Egg.
Then the dragon hatches for the first time in sixty years, and it’s clear to Duncan that their story has only just begun.

"Thank you," Ser Duncan said, then immediately amended, "thank Your Grace...ness. Seven fucks, I'm getting another drink." And he whirled away into the throng before Baelor could say a word.
