When Ann and her friend Caleb go out in search of a place to throw a party, they don’t anticipate stumbling on a mafia hideout or meeting their very attractive boss.
Ann learns very quick what it’s like having feelings for someone as powerful as Scarlet and how hard it is when the other person tries to hide her feelings from not only the world, but herself as well.
Will Ann be able to navigate this relationship with Scarlet? Or will the two of them become trapped in a loop of fear and yearning for the rest of their lives?

Everything seems quiet at first, that is until a case comes in about a serial killer and bigot killing women that look similar to Maggie. With new information being given, Isobel soon joins her on the mission to figure out who their killer is. Once they figure out who he is, they run into some trouble. What is this trouble and what happens to them while they're undercover?
