I've been reading fanfics since I waa 11 years old and I gotta say that this is my favorite fanfic among all those I have ever read.
AMAZING character writing AMAZING character development AMAZING character relationships AMAZING plot AMAZING plot twists AMAZING foreshadowing and SO SO MCUH MORE
I genuinely dont have enough words to describe how much i love and enjoyed reading this fic and im so sad that i slept on it for so long because of its dark themes.
I just gotta applaud the author 1000 times because they made me fall deeply in love with their world and their characters that I genuinely cried hard for them plenty more times than I'd ever admit.
The journey while reading this was an intensely arduous one. There were many moments of despair, discomfort, and pain I felt for the characters, but there were also those many moments of happiness, adoration, and such intense vicarious joy that leads me to believe just how worth it it is to read this fic despite the many dark tones I tend to avoid fics for.
Also gotta point out how fun it was to try and predict foreshadowing points because THERES JUST SO MUCH OF IT
I dont even know how to proceed after reading this. What fic will ever measure to how intensely I love this one?

Summary

if i had to give this fic a song, itd be "Drag Path" by Twenty One Pilots oh my gosh
Im not even halfway through the fic as i write this but i can easily say its my favorite among my favorites. first time im taking a fic out of private bookmark (keep them all there for some reason, not because theyre all bad i swear) too cuz its THAT good and i NEEEEED it recommended:
amazing characterization that feels so real, so human. theyre complex and so different from usual fics in a good way. you can feel how the author loves and deeply cares for the characters.
the plot is absolutely amazing. there hasnt been a a dull moment so far. its all so interesting, especially with all the little moments that lend to the theme of circles (such an uninteresting shape, until you read the fic and see how profound its idea and placement in the story is); all the little stuff that could be relevant to the overarching story that i notice and have to wait for fruition or may never know until the puzzle pieces are organized in my face
oh my gosh. will update
edut: fic, characterization, and character development so so SO good i figure id be perfectly content if the main ship were platonic cuz their personal development and growth through each other would work regardless of their relationship status at the end. in incepto finis est? actually so addicted to that concept it might just consume me for the next month
just finished and i started bawling oh my gosh. it was gorgeous all the way through. definitely my favorite fic ever and itll be SO hard to top oh my gosh.
