Chris may be a pompous arse at the best of times but he does know his stuff and is a talented actor. How can a humble stage manager of little to ill acting talent try to impress such an artistically inclined individual? Trevor, continuing the proud tradition of Cornley’s stage manager to end up performing onstage, is desperate to find out. Chris loves acting and he wants his productions to be “at least half-decent in the end for once” and that means Trevor wants to do a good job because for some god-forsaken reason he wants Chris’s approval (and some other things if he is being honest but he tries to ignore that as much as possible). Spending more time closer to Chris this way is only a bonus.

He should look for the one occupying his thoughts. Maybe that would grant him the peace to sleep.
