“Tomioka-san,” Nakamura Ami, one of the girls in her class, asked her during lunch one day – Kaga didn’t speak much with her classmates, but they still got along well enough. “Which division are you hoping to join?”
Kaga tried not to grimace, chewing slowly before answering.
“Well, I know which ones I don’t want to join.”
Nakamura stared at her, waiting for her to elaborate, but frowned when Kaga didn’t.
“I see.” she said, voice slightly annoyed, “Well, me and a few others are hoping to join the Fifth.” Kaga almost choked on the water she was drinking, but Nakamura kept going, unbothered, “I went to one of Captain Aizen’s classes and he’s so kind! I bet he’s a wonderful captain. I’ve only heard good things about him.”
Yeah, because he killed those who talked shit about him. “Sounds interesting."
(Being reborn in a manga was bad enough. Staying away from the plot shouldn't have been hard, but it seemed like fate - or the Soul King, who knows at this point - had other plans.)

Shisui leaned close enough Shuji could count his eyelashes if he tried. He decidedly did not. Shuji remained on the bench, book resting on his chest, and met Shisui’s eyes without hesitation. Uchiha were always weird, but Shisui certainly came out as top dog weirdo.
“Have we met before? I feel like I would have remembered someone like you.”
“Absolutely not.”

Shuji woke up in a war-torn world, and as he inhaled, he also killed for the first time. You don’t get to choose your family, and while he’d never willingly pick any other, Shuji reluctantly accepted his life was shit. He chose to embrace his second life no matter what.No one told him Uchiha’s were so peculiar.

While taking down a slaver ring, Din and Boba are transported to the past, not that Din knows it at first. Dropped onto Sundari, supposed capital of Mandalore, a planet and people Din believes to be erased, what is he to do? Especially when he hears about a certain Sith, an aruetii, who supposedly stole the title of Mand'alor but is not Mandalorian? Well, Din has to take his lawful place, right? Even if that means picking up strays, reluctantly doing his job of ruling a people, speaking to his (two??) Darksabers, and so so much more.
