Summary
Lucifer had been present during Adam's creation. He'd stood by and watched the elder Archangels smooth over the clay that would then later turn to flesh, as they gave him a shape as close to perfection as possible.
Before Adam had even begun breathing, he'd stood tall. Chin up in the air, shoulders squared, his face had been turned towards the rising sun. Lucifer, still only a few hundred years old at the time, had stood far in the back of the crowd of angels, watching giddily at Heaven's - God's - Magnum Opus. With awe he'd observed the more experienced angels work. Even made of clay, Lucifer could appreciate Adam's long, flowing hair, his broad stature, his proud stance.
