When he was asked to describe what his friends would describe himself as, he immediately filled in that he had no friends to note of. That was immediately scratched out. He imagined him as the things he was.
A man. A scientist. A teacher, above all else, when he originally never considered the occupation.
He never considered he'd need to be more in tune with his designation, until it was the only thing separating him and the man the Eridian Space eploration team found on a blood moon.

Summary
The stranger walked towards Grace but when he noticed him backing away, he stopped. Instead, he leaned against the bunk he had just been laying. Crossing his arms, but smiling all the same.
“My name’s Simon Fischer. What’s yours?”
“Grace. R- Ryland Grace.”
Simon blinked as if that was too simple and smiled.
“That’s a nice name,” he said and gestured to the robot. “This is Armando. He’s a bit of a Nanny Robot. Looks after my health. Yours too.”
“Did you name it?” Grace asked, eyeing the machine.
“…yes?” Simon replied.
“You named the robot arm, Arm-ando?
“Yes.”
Grace considered this. “Fair enough. Carry on.”

“Of course I would,” he flopped back down on the sand, leaning his weight on his hands that were now anchored in the sand behind him. “You know what, there's a movie where something like that happens. Guy goes to an alien planet and gets a new alien body. Pretty good, if I’m remembering it right. Only ever saw it once.”
He never should've shown him that movie.

Grace has been on Erid for quite some time now, living life to the best of his ability from within the confines of the biodome Rocky and his team erected for him. Its been perfect, aside from the fact that Grace was on borrowed time and his body was beginning to protest every movement he made. So, with Grace's health beginning to degrade beyond repair and after he made the mistake of showing Rocky the movie, Avatar, Rocky starts a secret project that has the potential to change everything.
