Summary
She had to admit that Scythe had found some unusual way of worming into her heart. There was a certain appeal to being with her, of moving just short of a tryst and skirting that line. Like an endlessly endearing forbidden romance, or something equally fictional. Scythe must have felt it too.
As it did many times before, a much more daring thought crossed Vine Staff’s mind as well. She wanted to push the line that they grazed so often, the line that Vine Staff had nearly cut herself on multiple times before. Scythe liked when she did that, right?
Vine Staff, for all her stubbornness, notably lacks experience. Scythe is more than happy to show her what her hesitance has made her miss out on.
