Wednesday had put together a hasty plan in her mind, one that felt so uncharacteristically foolhardy that she could hardly believe it when Lurch propelled them down the road, heading straight to Jericho, Vermont, towards Tyler Galpin and Laurel Gates and towards Nevermore, towards a future that she didn’t know if she could change, but hells, she had to try.

Summary
Every night after Wednesday's classes finish she heads to the same coffee shop to work on her novel. Working from home is impossible with how Enid, her roommate and best friend, stays up all night working on various projects for school. So after searching high and low, Wednesday finds refuge in the back corner booth of the Weathervane coffee shop right across the street from campus.
But there's a catch and that "catch" is the barista who's constantly stealing glances at her from across the shop.

Wednesday can't sleep at night so she writes instead. One night, she goes grocery shopping and on the way back finds a young man sitting on the bench at the bus stop but never gets on the bus when it arrives. A few days later she see's him again. Curiosity getting the better of her, she sits down at the bus stop and asks him what he's doing there. Little does she know the chain of life changing events this has set in motion.
