Summary
Grace is dying. He and Rocky have made it all the way to Erid, but getting an emaciated, malnourished, mentally fragile Ryland Grace down to a planet designed to kill him is not a simple feat. Rocky desperate to bring his friend home with him, but Grace himself might become the biggest obstacle to seeing that dream realized.

Summary
"Can I tell you something?" Buck slurs drunkenly, leaning into Eddie's space on the couch.
This is not an unusual position for them to be in, attached at the hip after Buck got over his weird pissing contest that first shift. But they're both so drunk that personal space doesn't exist.
"Sure, Buck," Eddie snorts.
"I just see you as one of the guys, you know. You're like a guy to me!" Buck smirks.
But something zings through him, bravery lighting him on fire. If there's one person he should be able to tell, it's Buck.
"It's because I am," Eddie tells him, trying to speak normally.
"Huh?" Buck squints at him. "No, you're a lesbian."
Eddie purses his lips, shakes his head. "Nope. I'm a man, Buck."
Buck sits with this for a minute, just mulling it over in his fuzzy brain. "Wait," he finally says. "You're…trans?"
Eddie nods again, unsure exactly how Buck is taking this. But the anxiety melts immediately when Buck breaks out into a huge, sunshine grin.
Or: Eddie gets top surgery and Buck helps him through it. Too bad Buck has a boyfriend.

Buck hip checks Eddie. ‘’You good?’’
‘’Yeah. I was just looking forward at quiet Sunday afternoon at the house, not this.’’
‘’Quiet Sunday afternoon?’’ Buck chuckles. ‘’When on Earth do you and Christopher have quiet Sunday afternoons? You usually blast aliens on the TV or play Mario Kart.’’
Eddie pouts. ‘’Hey, that’s quiet.’’
‘’Sure,’’ Buck smirks.
‘’Don’t be smug. Not everyone can be a master chef like you.’’
Buck leaves the knife on the board and turns to Eddie, faking offence. ‘’What? Me, a master chef? If you haven’t noticed I’m scared shitless I won’t recognize when the dish is done because Pepa keeps saying ‘it’s over until it’s over’ and ‘just a cup of flour’ but when I ask which cup she says ‘the blue one’. The blue one is not a measuring unit Eddie. I literally have no idea what I’m doing.’’
Eddie shrugs his shoulders then lifts a piece of carrot he just peeled to Buck’s mouth so he can snack on it. ‘’You’re doing fine. I’m on peeling duty. You’re on seasoning duty.’’

A few months after he moved into the biodome the Eridians generously built just for him, he started waking up every night drenched in his own sweat and tears. Saying that he hated it was an egregious understatement. He was tired, anxious, and unbelievably stressed out all the time. Every time he went to bed, the fear of having another nightmare kept him up into ungodly hours of the night. And when he did finally fall asleep, his fear just made his nightmare even worse.
